Three consecutive tornado warnings hit the Myrtle Beach region on Friday morning, according to alerts from the National Weather Service and The Weather Channel.

In their wake, here’s some of the damage community members have been seeing and posting on social media.

A tree fell on a house in the Burgess community area, Horry County Fire Rescue reported.

Crews responded at 8:07 a.m. to a residence on Laguna Point in the Myrtle Beach area. A large tree limb broke off, falling on the residence, causing damage to the roof and building, according to a Facebook post.

The resident was home at the time, but there were no injuries, the post said.

Horry County Fire Rescue has responded to many downed trees and utility lines in Horry County, a post said. Some of the damage is causing roadways to be impassable.

Earlier Friday, Horry County Electric, Inc. posted photos of a tree that had fallen over a power line off of Highway 501 near Aynor resulting in customers losing access to power.

Horry County remains under a tornado watch until 6 p.m. Friday. A tornado looking cloud formation was seen over Highway 17 toward Carolina Forest.

And here some folks, capture a tent-like structure at the Dunes Village Resort in the Myrtle Beach area that went flying due to the strong winds. The video shows people being hit by the tent.

But some people took the storm in stride, as this little girl gives a weather report in her weather-themed pajamas.

Another woman takes in the storm from an ocean-front balcony.
