A hotel a short walk to the beach is for sale, joining the many other properties put on the market in 2024.

The Mermaid Inn, located at 5400 North Ocean Blvd. in Myrtle Beach, is for sale on the commercial real estate platform LoopNet. Built in 1971, the 57-room property’s asking price is less than $6.5 million.

According to the listing, the property received renovations in 2024, and external and internal upgrades were made to the location. Based on the Horry County Land Records website, the property last sold for $4.9 million in March 2022.

Amir Tal is the real estate professional listed for the property on LoopNet. Tal’s LinkedIn lists him as managing director at Capital Property Partners and a commercial real estate broker with BH Capital Advisors. He could not return a request for comment before publication.

The Mermaid Inn is one of several hotels in the Myrtle Beach area listed on LoopNet in 2024. Also on North Ocean’s Boulevard, the Happy Holiday Motel is for sale on LoopNet for $6.9 million.

Meanwhile, the 60-room Aqua Beach Inn is for sale on LoopNet for $5.9 million, while La Dolce Vita Villas in North Myrtle Beach has an asking price of $2.5 million.
