A Myrtle Beach motel with a pool near the ocean is for sale. Here’s the asking price
Another motel near the ocean in the Myrtle Beach area is for sale on LoopNet.
The Happy Holiday Motel at 507 North Ocean Blvd. is for sale for $6.9 million. According to the LoopNet listing, the 64-room, four-floor property was first built in 1968.
Posted on LoopNet May 8, 2024, the listing last received an update August 16, 2024. It isn’t the first time the motel went up for sale in the last five years.
Horry County Land Records states the market value for the property is $1.9 million, having last been sold for about two million dollars in 2022.
David Adam, a real estate professional representing the property on LoopNet, did not return a request for comment before publication.
The Happy Holiday also isn’t the only hotel for sale in the Myrtle Beach area near the ocean right now.
Indigo Tower, a 54-room high-rise near the ocean, is also for sale on LoopNet for $7.4 million. The Lily & Bloom hotel is also for sale on LoopNet for $2.59 million, which, despite having a recent renovation, evokes the mid-century motel vibe. The Lily & Bloom is a 26-room hotel built in 1950.
