The Grand Strand has a second Sephora inside a department store. Where to find it
Shoppers in the Myrtle Beach area have a new location to find name-brand beauty products and fragrances.
A portion of the Myrtle Beach Kohl’s department store near the intersection of U.S. 17 and S.C. 544 will be dedicated to a Sephora at Kohl’s that opens Friday.
Sephora is positioned prominently at the front of the store and features a 2,500-square-foot, fully immersive beauty experience that resembles a freestanding Sephora with an assortment of makeup, skincare, hair products and fragrances.
Brands include Giorgio Armani, Clinique, Rare Beauty, NARS, Charlotte Tilbury, Kiehl’s, Olaplex, and Sephora Collection.
Six new beauty brands are being added this spring: Murad, Clarins, Jack Black, Living Proof, Versace and Voluspa.
Sephora-trained beauty advisors offer personalized consultations and assistance with finding products, while testing and discovery zones offer a rotating assortment of new, emerging or trending products.
Kohl’s began integrating Sephora into its stores in the fall of 2021 and added 200 last year. The Myrtle Beach store is one of 400 Sephora at Kohl’s store openings planned nationwide this year, and another 250 are planned by the end of 2023.
The Grand Strand has two Kohl’s locations. A 55,000-square-foot store opened in North Myrtle Beach late last year and it does not include a Sephora.
Another Sephora is located at the JC Penney in the Coastal Grand Mall.
Kohl’s is a retail chain that began in 1962 in Wisconsin and now has more than 1,100 stores in almost every state in the U.S., according to its website.
