Mavis Tires & Brakes opened another large service store in the Myrtle Beach area
A new tire and automotive store has opened on S.C. 544 near the intersection of U.S. 17.
Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices opened a seventh Grand Strand location at 100 Strand Market Drive on April 11.
The building has eight vehicle bays, a reception area and a waiting room.
Mavis sells tires, brakes, parts and accessories, and performs vehicle service and maintenance.
In addition to the new store, Mavis has locations in Georgetown, Murrells Inlet, Conway, Socastee and Myrtle Beach on both Waccamaw Boulevard and North Kings Highway.
Mavis Tire operates more than 1,000 stores countrywide including a couple of its other owned brands, predominantly on the East Coast and in the South and Midwest. It entered the Myrtle Beach area with its acquisition of the locally-owned Tire Town brand a few years ago.
