Double Dunkin’: Two Myrtle Beach area locations to open this year. Here’s where

Provided by Dave Staley

More coffee and donuts are making their way to the Myrtle Beach area this year.

Fans of Dunkin’ will soon have two more locations to get their fix in Horry County.

A Dunkin’ store on Highway 701 in Conway has a target opening of April, according to franchise president Dave Staley. Another location on Mr. Joe White Avenue in Myrtle Beach has yet to begin construction, but Staley said he hopes to open the store during the fourth quarter of 2022.

Staley said those opening dates are approximate as ongoing pandemic uncertainties and supply chain issues may alter plans.

Both locations will be without seating, a model called “Dunkin’ Go,” as part of a growing trend of drive-thru only coffee shops. The Conway location will have a walk-up window in addition to a drive-thru. The two Myrtle Beach-area locations will be the first of their kind in South Carolina.

Dunkin’ has been expanding on the Grand Strand in recent months, including new locations in Longs and the Market Common area.
