A man robbed a Kangaroo gas station at gunpoint Thursday in an unincorporated area in Myrtle Beach, and Horry County police are asking the public’s help in finding the suspect.

The robbery happened about 5:30 a.m. Thursday at the Kangaroo at 5600 S. Kings Highway, police said. No one was hurt during the incident, but the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.

Officials released photos of the suspect, who was wearing a hat and sunglasses and pointing a gun, through the department’s Facebook page Friday afternoon.
