A section of Highway 90 near Star Bluff Road in the Longs area was closed for about five hours following Tuesday’s shooting incident, which involved a car crash of at least three vehicles followed by an altercation between Taylor and Greenwood, The Sun News previously reported.
Taylor allegedly shot Greenwood several times with a pistol, which was caught on video, according to his arrest warrants. Greenwood was pronounced dead at the scene.
A witness involved in the crash told The Sun News that she and another car, a Honda Civic, were hit by the driver of a white pickup truck. The driver of the Honda allegedly became upset, and shot the driver of the pickup truck after a heated exchange, according to the witness’s account.
The witness also shared that the shooter remained standing nearby until police arrived. Upon their arrival, Taylor immediately told them he wasn’t going to say anything, according to the incident report.
The Honda and the Ford truck were both seized as evidence in the investigation, an incident report shows.

A background check on Taylor revealed that he was charged in 2019 and 2025 in North Carolina for driving without a license. Those records also list Nakina, North Carolina, an unincorporated community about 27 miles northeast of Horry County, as his address.
A Sun News reporter at the scene observed that the Honda had North Carolina plates.
