Myrtle Beach police investigate shooting near downtown, 1 person hurt

One person was hurt in a Tuesday morning shooting near downtown Myrtle Beach.

Police responded to a shooting near 4th Avenue North and Kings Highway around 11:30 a.m., according to Master Cpl. Thomas Vest. Officers found one person hurt in the incident.

Officers have not released any details about the severity of the victim’s injuries.

Myrtle Beach police continue to investigate the shooting.
