Here’s the latest on the man accused of murder at a Myrtle Beach Ocean Blvd. hotel
The man accused of shooting and killing a person along Ocean Boulevard on Memorial Day will remain behind bars.
Kemain Masonte Reese, of Greenwood, was in Horry County court this week as he sought to be released on bond. Senior Assistant Solicitor Josh Holford said bond was again denied.
That means Reese will remain in J. Reuben Long Detention Center as he awaits trial on charges of murder, unlawful carry of a weapon and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
He faces life in prison.
Reese is accused of killing Cadric Elmore Jr. around 12:45 a.m. on Memorial Day. Elmore was shot near the Landmark Resort on Ocean Boulevard and 15th Avenue South.
