Myrtle Beach police are investigating after 10-15 gunshots were heard near Ocean Boulevard on Sunday morning.
Officers heard the shots as they were helping on a medical call around 3:50 a.m., according to a police report.
The shots came from a parking lot of 404 N. Ocean Blvd., the report states.
Officers ran to the lot and saw a four-door sedan speed away, the report states. Police stopped the vehicle, but determined those inside were not involved in the shooting.
Police could not find any victims or anyone with injuries as a result of the incident.
The incident is the latest in a string of gun issues that has plagued Ocean Boulevard over the past month. There have been several shootings along the popular stretch, leaving some on social media to say the area is no longer safe. A shooting on Memorial Day near 15th Avenue South was fatal.
