Marshalls in new redeveloped Conway plaza set to open. Here’s when you can shop
One of the new anchor stores in a redeveloped Conway plaza is set to open this month.
Marshalls will open at Coastal Centre on April 30, according to a press release sent Thursday. The store offers a selection of high-quality merchandise at lower prices that includes fashion, accessories, shoes, beauty, home, men, kids and pets.
The grand opening will happen from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 1610 Church St. Regular hours will be 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily.
Marshalls is just one of several stores that will be joining the already open Belk department store.
Currently, HomeGoods, Walmart Neighborhood Market, Marshalls, Ulta, PetSmart, Five Below and Burlington is set to upon. In addition, J Peters Bar and Grill will open its ninth location in the plaza.
Rise Partners, a commercial real estate firm, acquired the Conway property in October 2024, eyeing revitalization. Now, the mall is expected to house more than 140,000 square feet of national retail space and is set to open in the summer.
The retail strip originally opened in 1969, housing stores such as Winn-Dixie and Kmart. But the mall underwent years of decline, with the closure of Kmart marking a permanent shift in its success, The Sun News previously reported.
“At Marshalls, we hustle every day to bring the good stuff to stores for consumers. With the opening of this store, we are excited to provide Conway shoppers with high-quality, brand name merchandise at an amazing value,” said Nancy Carpenter, president of Marshalls, said in the release.
