Add groceries to your same-day Amazon delivery in Myrtle Beach area. Here’s how
Not only can Myrtle Beach area residents get same-day delivery on many Amazon products, but they can now add fresh groceries to their order list.
Amazon announced Wednesday that the new North Myrtle Beach facility will allow shoppers to buy “everything from produce and baked goods to quality meats and dairy alongside their everyday purchases.”
Local residents can now combine grocery shopping with Amazon purchases that will be delivered within hours, according to a press release. The release said the company has added more fresh foods, including items from Whole Foods Market.
The Myrtle Beach area is now among more than 2,300 cities and towns offering same-day grocery delivery.
The new 156,000-square-foot facility opened in November 2024 along Water Tower Road and was the first same-day delivery center in South Carolina. The center was expected to open earlier, but the company decided to add a grocery store to the facility which delayed the opening, according to previous reporting.
