For Conway residents looking to get an oil change for their car, there’s a new shop that could provide that service.

Valvoline is opening a new location at 142 Middle Ridge Ave. near Conway. Construction crews are currently completing work on the building.

The new store is already for sale. With an asking price of $3.5 million, the property went on the website LoopNet in January 2025.

The LoopNet listing states the Valvoline will open in 2025 next to an Arby’s built in 2023. Ransome Foose is a real estate professional representing the property on LoopNet and did not return a request for comment. It’s not the first Valvoline to open in the Myrtle Beach area in the last two years.

A new Valvoline opened in Carolina Forest during the summer of 2023, followed by another shop setting up in Market Common. The new stores are part of a larger strategy for the company, as it opened its 2,000th location in October 2024 and plans to one day have 3,500.
