Myrtle Beach area residents in need of an oil change will have a new option to choose from.
Valvoline will open a new location near the Latitude at the Commons apartment complex; a sign facing Farrow Parkway announced the new location. While the building is under construction, site work on the project is still ongoing.
Construction workers at the site declined to comment on the record, and Valvoline’s media relations team did not return a request for comment before publication.
The location comes following new locations opening in the Grand Strand area. The Sun News reported that, in July 2023, construction began on a Valvoline location in Carolina Forest at 119 Sapwood Road near a new 7-11 convenience store and gas station. The Carolina Forest area Valvoline is now open.
