An apartment complex near the ocean in Myrtle Beach is for sale on Zillow.

At 505 28th Ave. North in Myrtle Beach near the abandoned Myrtle Square Mall site, the 19-unit complex has an asking price of $1.75 million on Zillow. Built in 1966, it went on Zillow in November 2024 after being listed at less than $2 million in June 2024.

In an interview with The Sun News, Realtor Mike Green II said the complex’s floors received renovations. He added the property has received interest from prospective buyers.

Horry County Land Records show that the property last sold in 2021 for about $1.3 million. It lists the more than .5 acre tract’s market value at more than $1.1 million. This listing follows other apartment complexes and hotels near the ocean going up for sale in the Myrtle Beach area.

In a February 2025 interview, Realtor Chance Leith said that buying independent hotels and mom-and-pop establishments became widespread, although it has slowed down somewhat.

“I don’t know if it’s kind of plateaued a little bit, but the numbers certainly show that,” Leith said in an interview with The Sun News.
