Myrtle Beach hotel near SkyWheel part of city history. It’s now for sale. Here’s how much
A hotel near downtown Myrtle Beach and not too far from the SkyWheel is for sale.
The 300 Tenth hotel at 300 10th Ave. North was posted for sale on Zillow in December 2024. Built in 1955, the 32-unit property has an asking price of about $4.3 million.
Chance Leith is the Realtor for the property and said the property received a recent renovation. He’s currently negotiating the sale of the hotel, but things are still pending, he said.
“Getting these places funded can be difficult for some people,” Leith said. “I mean, not everybody’s got $5 million in cash lying around in Myrtle Beach.”
The hotel has already been on the market during the last five years. According to Horry County Land Records, the property sold for $2.85 million in September 2021.
Leith said that 2021 marked a noticeable upswing in buying small “mom and pop” hotels and motels.
“I don’t know if it’s kind of plateaued a little bit, but the numbers certainly show that,” Leith added.
