This Broadway at the Beach restaurant closed three years ago. Has it been replaced?
It’s been three years since a Broadway at the Beach restaurant closed its doors for the final time.
Key West Grill had called the shopping center home for 25 years, when it was announced the restaurant would close in January 2020. The eatery was housed in a pink building, next to Rooster’s Restaurant & Bar.
It is unknown what will replace Key West Grill or what will be done with the building. Marketing director for Broadway at the Beach Melissa Armstrong did not return a request for comment.
Since 2020, Broadway at the Beach has opened several new stores and businesses, including the Key West Village which includes The Hangout restaurant. But the former home of Key West Grill is unoccupied.
Broadway at the Beach’s map of the property labels each building by number and lists what businesses they contain. But Key West Grill’s former location, building number 43, has no store listed.
