Another longtime Broadway at the Beach restaurant shuts down for good

Key West Grill at Broadway at the Beach closed this month, the latest in a string of changes happening to the popular tourist attraction.

The restaurant, recognized by the boat sticking out over the door, was at Broadway at the Beach for over 25 years. It served steaks, seafood and burgers.

“Key West Grill has been serving guests at Broadway at the Beach since we opened,” Broadway Spokesperson Jay Rodriguez said. “It is unfortunate to see them leave. We are working on the next exciting offering for our guests.”

In addition, Liberty Tap Room announced last month its Broadway at the Beach location would close.

In addition to changing tenants, a major portion of the property is under construction after the movie theatre was torn down last year. A new building will include The Hangout, a new restaurant to the area that will serve up a seafood menu, and also act as an events space within Broadway at the Beach.
