Myrtle Beach man named as victim in Highway 544 wreck
Floyd Hathaway Jr. died on Monday in the accident at the intersection of Highway 544 and Cox Ferry Road, according to the Horry County Coroner Robert Edge.
He was 63 and lived in Myrtle Beach. The wreck happened around 1 p.m. on Monday when two trucks collided. Coastal Carolina Police and Horry County Fire Rescue responded.
