Myrtle Beach residents and visitors will soon have an opportunity to ‘Eat Mor Chickin.’

Chick-fil-A is opening a new restaurant at the Myrtle Beach Mall in the Briarcliffe Acres area, near the Grand Strand’s northernmost Hooters Restaurant as well as Bass Pro Shops and the new Twin Peaks restaurant.

It is expected to open as early as January.

A statement from Chick-fil-A Inc. reads: “It’s our pleasure to confirm we will be opening a new Chick-fil-A restaurant in Myrtle Beach at 10131 N Kings Hwy in early 2022. We look forward to joining the community and to serving all of our guests delicious food in an environment of genuine hospitality. “

Chick-fil-A has been using technology to become more efficient for customers by increasing customer access through the Chick-fil-A One app and placing workers with iPads outside to take orders and speed up drive-through service.

The restaurant chain has at least eight other locations on the Grand Strand including in Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Conway, Carolina Forest and Murrells Inlet.
