Ripley’s Believe It or Not! is adding a miniature golf course to its North Ocean Boulevard attraction, according to the Horry Independent.
The addition recently received approval from the Myrtle Beach Community Appearance Board.
The indoor course will be situated between the Haunted Adventure and movie theater portions of the building at 9th Ave. North, and the outside of the building will also receive a new paint job with the colors turquoise, neon green and purple, according to the Independent.
The haunted adventure and mirror maze portions of Ripley’s are currently designed to resemble an abandoned warehouse.
African fertility statues sit on display at the entrance to Ripley’s Believe It or Not! museum along Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach in February 2020. According to tribal legend, to ensure a couple’s fertility the statues are to be placed on either side of a doorway leading into a bedroom. If a woman or her spouse touches either statue as they enter the room, they will soon get pregnant. Josh Bell jbell@thesunnews.com
