New $49 nonstop flights to this popular northeast destination are coming to MYR
A budget airline is introducing flights to and from Atlantic City, New Jersey at Myrtle Beach International Airport in South Carolina.
Las Vegas-based airline Allegiant Air will begin offering nonstop service between the two coastal tourist destinations on May 21.
For some flights purchased by Feb. 18, one-way fares start at $49.
“Atlantic City continues to be a highly popular destination for Myrtle Beach residents and visitors alike, and these increased flights will provide travelers with even more choices and flexibility as they plan their summer getaways,” said Allegiant Air director of airports Judi Olmstead.
The new Atlantic City flights are among a flurry of new destinations coming to Myrtle Beach International Airport.
Allegiant debuted flights to Dayton International Airport in Ohio and Elmira Corning Regional Airport in New York last November. Breeze Airways has also expanded its offerings recently with service to Long Island MacArthur Airport in New York, Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in New Hampshire and Orlando International Airport in Florida.
With the new flights to Atlantic City, Allegiant Air offers flights to 21 destinations from Myrtle Beach International Airport.
