Here are five new restaurants to try in the Myrtle Beach area. Know of any openings?

Myrtle Beach’s latest round of restaurant openings include a breakfast place in Market Common, and a peach cobbler dessert bar in Carolina Forest. Here are five new places to try this month.

1. Seawitch Cafe



After Peace, Love and Donuts closed down its Market Common location due to the unexpected passing of its owner in June, Myrtle Beach resident Tina Littleton opened the Seawitch Cafe to replace it. Seawitch Cafe offers all kinds of breakfast staples, such as omelets, avocado toast, donuts and other pastries.

Hours: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.

2. Terrazza 19

The Grand Dunes Golf Club welcomed a new restaurant, Terrazza 19, to the area earlier this fall. Terrazza 19 serves “shareable plates and craft cocktails in the course’s newly expanded clubhouse,” the website states.

While the restaurant is open to the public, it is located behind the gate for the private bridge that leads guests to the Grand Dunes. The restaurant offers a breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu.

3. Peach Cobbler Factory

Franchise partners Rod and Tracey Adams opened this peach cobbler-based dessert bar in Carolina Forest earlier this month. Peach Cobbler Factory, which plans to open several locations in the area, specializes in peach cobbler but also includes other dessert staples like cinnamon rolls and banana pudding. Ice cream and iced coffee made in-house is on the menu as well.

“It’s something different, something new,” Tracey Adams said in a previous Sun News article.

4. Don’s Deli



With 40 years of New York style deli operations, Don Jackson alongside his son opened this deli in Conway earlier this fall. This deli’s specialties are New York style sandwiches, ice cream, and other traditional deli sides such as soups, salads and chips.

5. Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux

Walk On’s serves traditional Cajun and Louisiana cuisine in a sports restaurant and bar setting. This Surfside Beach location is one of 20 locations of the franchise to open this year, and the second location to open in the Myrtle Beach area.
