Wanted woman arrested in connection with meth lab found in Conway
A woman that was wanted in connection with a meth lab discovered at a home near Conway back in May was arrested Sunday.
Tara Jeanne Anders, 24, of Conway, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and disposal of methamphetamine waste, online jail records show. Her bond was set at $25,000.
Horry County police spokeswoman Krystal Dotson announced back in May that Anders was wanted on those same charges.
On May 22, Horry County officers and firefighters, decked in white Hazmat suits, entered a home located at 612 University Forest Drive around 10:30 a.m.
Authorities said they were tipped off by a call of “suspicious activity” at the home, and inside police found the makings of a meth lab and what appeared to investigators to be a one-pot-style operation.
Anders remains in jail as of Monday morning.
