Letter | Caitlyn Jenner always thought she was a woman

Caitlyn Jenner always thought like a woman

Re Aug. 3 letter, “Caitlyn Jenner can’t possibly know what it is like to be a woman,” by Judith Cole.

Ms Cole, I am sympathetic towards your feelings concerning Bruce Jenner's transformation to a woman; however, I believe you are missing one aspect of her mindset.

Caitlyn Jenner believed she had a woman's mind and thus experienced feelings from that viewpoint throughout her life.

I do not believe any of Caitlyn's actions minimizes a woman's place in this society, and I am sure she does not wear lipstick and red finger polish everyday to prove her womanhood.
