People take to social media to share photos and videos of snow in Myrtle Beach area
A dusting of snow fell in the Myrtle Beach area overnight before melting Saturday morning as temperatures rose to the low 40s.
The light snow came a week after an ice storm and unusually low temperatures hit the area. Last week’s storm brought freezing rain and sleet to the Myrtle Beach area and some snow farther inland, prompting businesses to close and schools to move online.
The last time the Myrtle Beach area received significant snowfall was in 2018 during Winter Storm Grayson.
The weather led many people to share their photos and videos to social media. Take a look.
