Weather forecast for Carolina County Music Festival show hot but rainy weather

Country music fans might see some rain during scheduled performances at Carolina County Music Festival.

Meteorologists predict a hot but wet weekend as storms move into the Myrtle Beach area, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, N.C.

Before a cold front enters the area on Thursday, it is likely there will be scattered storms on Wednesday with highs near the 90s, forecast shows.

It is also expected to rain Thursday with highs in the low 90s.

Friday will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 80s, according to meteorologists.

Over the weekend, highs will stay in the upper 80s with isolated storms on Saturday and sunny skies on Sunday.
