Bear gets stuck in stadium as it wanders University of Tennessee campus, officials say

Police needed help getting an intruder out of a baseball stadium Sunday morning, officials say.

A bear wandering around the University of Tennessee’s campus somehow managed to get stuck inside the school’s baseball stadium, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency said on Facebook.

The university’s police department contacted the TWRA about the bear at about 4 a.m., the post says.

Wildlife officials responded to the baseball stadium and were able to quickly tranquilize the bear and get it out with the help of police, according to post.

“Even bears think it’s great to be a Tennessee Vol,” another wrote.
