An endangered Kemp’s ridley sea turtle was found dead after it was strangled by an Alabama football beach chair that was tangled around its neck. The turtle was found on the beach along the Fort Morgan coast by Matt Ware.
A man was asked turn his shirt inside out or leave the Greenville, North Carolina mall because security said his shirt, which included the word “F---” was against mall policy. Christopher Tutt said he believed he was targeted and racially profiled. There is no specifically stated rule at the mall that prohibits profanity on clothing.
Research at N.C. State University shows that prospective teachers were worse at recognizing emotions on black faces. They also mislabeled more black faces as ‘angry’ and thought misbehaving black boys showed more hostility.

The FDA advises not eating Venezuelan fresh crab meat, sometimes sold as “pre-cooked,” after it was linked to an outbreak of Vibrio parahaemolyticus. The illness causes diarrhea, vomiting, fever and stomachaches.
