Myrtle Beach man charged after his relative is injured in a shooting
A Myrtle Beach man has been arrested following a shooting on Peachtree Road on Thursday.
Michael Seth Hall, 27, was charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Officers with the Horry County Police Department responded to the shooting around 11 p.m. One person was transported to the hospital with critical injuries, according to a post from the department on Facebook.
Hall and the person injured are related. Hall also told investigators that the shooting did not stem from an argument or fight, according to the post.
HCPD is still investigating and said that there may be additional criminal charges.
Hall is currently being held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center without bail.
