Third person arrested for deadly night club shooting in the Myrtle Beach, SC area
A North Carolina man has been arrested for allegedly shooting someone outside of Club 3001, 920 Lake Arrowhead Road, in April, according to Horry County Police reports.
Kevin Gause, 22, was arrested and charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He is being held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center with no bail.
The Hoffman man is the third person to be arrested for for the shooting. He’s been accused of shooting two people in the parking lot of Club 3001, resulting in the death of Jadis Nelson, 22, of Rockingham, North Carolina. The second person had non-life threatening injuries.
Nelson died on April 24 from injuries sustained from the shooting, said the Horry County Coroner’s Office. He was injured in the abdomen, head and brain, the arrest warrant stated.
Eva Pricher, 40, of Hoffman, North Carolina and Shania Fuller, 21, of McLeansville, North Carolina, were also arrested in connection to shooting.
On April 7 around 2 a.m., Pricher was driving a car with Fuller and Gause inside when Gause and Fuller allegedly got out and shot at the two victims, according to Horry County arrest warrants. Gause allegedly pulled the gun out of his waistband, the arrest warrant said
Neither Pricher nor Fuller offered aid to the injured victims. Fuller could be heard saying, “If anyone got a problem with (redacted) he can get handled,” the arrest report said.
Fuller and Pricher were arrested in mid-June for accessory to a felony or murder. They were released from jail on a $40,000 bond several days after their arrests, according to bookings.
