Horry County Coroner identifies man killed after scooter crashed into dump truck
The Horry County Coroner’s Office has identified a man who was killed in a wreck Thursday afternoon.
Kary Dow, 59, was fatally injured when his moped crashed into the back of a parked 18-wheeler dump truck near Dogwood Road in Loris, according to Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard.
The crash happened about 4:45 p.m., she said. Dow, of Loris, died at the scene of the crash.
