Bomb threat near Coastal Carolina University cleared, Horry County police say

Horry County police said a bomb threat near Coastal Carolina University was cleared this morning and roads have re-opened, according to a tweet from the department

Horry County Police responded to a bomb threat near the university’s campus about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. Highway 544 was closed to traffic between U.S. Highway 501 and Myrtle Ridge Drive while police officers investigated.
