Myrtle Beach police arrested two men in connection with a sexual assault that a victim reported at an Ocean Boulevard hotel on Sunday, according to a police report.

Timothy Byers, 19, and Zyquabious Romarie Williams, 18, both of Rock Hill, were each charged Monday with third-degree criminal sexual conduct and were both being held at the J. Reuben Detention Center on a $30,000 bond on Tuesday morning.

Officers were called about 7 a.m. Sunday to the Ocean Plaza Motel at 1005 S. Ocean Blvd. where a victim, whose age was not listed in the report, told authorities she was sexually assaulted, authorities said.

Details of the assault were not available in the report.

Myrtle Beach authorities also recently arrested a man in connection with an incident that occurred May 26, and one arrest in connection with that case had already been made, according to jail records.

Myrtle Beach police were called about 4 a.m. May 26 to a hotel at 2401 S. Ocean Blvd. in reference to a sexual assault that allegedly occurred at a hotel at 3000 N. Ocean Blvd., authorities said.

The victim’s age was not listed in the police report and further details about the assault were also not available; however, jail records show Eric Tyronne Hester, 24, of Burlington, N.C. and Derek Christopher Stanford, 26, were arrested in connection with this case.

Hester was arrested Monday and was charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct and kidnapping and was being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on a $60,000 bond.

Stanford was charged Thursday with first-degree sexual assault and kidnapping, and was still being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Tuesday morning, but his bond had not been set, according to jail records.

Police noted in the incident report that four other suspects were being sought in connection with the case, but no further information was available.

Authorities also arrested another man last week in connection with a separate sexual assault case.

Issac Garcia-Rodriguez, 21, of Longs, was arrested and charged June 9 with first-degree criminal sexual assault and kidnapping, according to jail records.

Garcia-Rodriguez remained jailed at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center, and his bond had not been set as of Tuesday morning.

Myrtle Beach authorities were called about 8 a.m. June 3 to the Bermuda Sands Resort where a victim, whose age was not listed, reported the incident, authorities said.

When police arrived at the resort, hotel management introduced them to the victim, who alleged she had been sexually assaulted, according to a police report.

Police said a Myrtle Beach detective was then called to the scene, and Garcia-Rodriguez was later arrested.

Myrtle Beach authorities also responded to a call about a sexual assault May 17 at a residence along 16th Avenue South, and two men were arrested June 3 in connection with the case, police said.

Brandon Adam Fitzgerald, 21, and Thomas Tyller Lambert, 21, were both charged with kidnapping and first-degree criminal sexual conduct, according to jail records.

Lambert was released from the J. Reuben Long Detention Center June 6 on a $60,000 bond, but Fitzgerald remained jailed on a $60,000 bond as of Tuesday morning.

Jake Cacciolfi, 21, of Conway, was arrested June 2 and charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct after a woman told Horry County police she was raped.

Cacciolfi was released from the J. Reuben Long Detention Center June 3 on a $10,000 bond, according to jail records.
