Shooting reported in the Socastee area, Horry County police investigating
Horry County police are investigating a shooting in the Socastee area on Wednesday afternoon.
The shooting was reported around 5:20 p.m.,—near the same time another shooting was reported in the Conway area of Horry County—at Dick Pond Road.
Police have not found any victims.
There is an increased police presence in the area as officers investigate the shooting.
