Horry County police take murder suspect into custody

Horry County police have taken into custody a man wanted for murder.

Shamontae Raqwan Graham, aka “Ray Ray,” was in police custody as of Saturday afternoon in connection to the murder of Jamie Johnson. Police released Graham’s name on Saturday morning, asking for the public’s help in locating him.

Graham turned himself in Saturday in another jurisdiction, police say.

Johnson, 19, was shot and killed on Sept. 12 along Rose Moss Road and D Street in the Conway area.

Graham faces life in prison.
