25-year-old charged in connection to fatal Myrtle Beach crash on Kings Highway

A man faces up to 25 years in prison after police say he drunkenly hit and killed a moped driver in Myrtle Beach.

Shane Divine Bandolas, 25, was booked into Myrtle Beach jail on Saturday and charged with DUI with death He was also charged with third-degree assault for a separate incident

Bail has not been set in his case.

Shortly before midnight, police and fire went to a crash between a vehicle and a moped on North Kings Highway near 46th Avenue North. One person died in the wreck.

The Horry County Coroner’s Office has not identified the crash victim.
