When are bike weeks in Myrtle Beach, SC this year? These are the dates to know
With motorcycle rides, reunions and live performances, Grand Strand bike weeks draw scores of visitors from across the country every spring and fall.
As the Myrtle Beach area braces for another year of excitement and traffic, here are the 2026 bike rally dates locals and tourists should know.
Spring Myrtle Beach Bike Rally
Bikers will roll into town for the Grand Strand’s largest bike event this May. Commonly called Spring Myrtle Beach Bike Rally, Spring Bike Week or simply Myrtle Beach Bike Week, this year’s event will run Friday, May 8, through Sunday, May 17.
Across more than 50 miles along the Grand Strand coast, bikers and festivalgoers may hit spots as far north as Little River, but will likely congregate most at biker favorites in the south Strand, like the Beaver Bar and Suck Bang Blow in Murrells Inlet.
Atlantic Beach Memorial Day Black Pearl Cultural Heritage and Bike Festival
Held every Memorial Day weekend, the Atlantic Beach Memorial Day Black Pearl Cultural Heritage and Bike Festival is more commonly known as Black Bike Week. This year the festival will span Friday, May 22, through Monday, May 25.
Rally performances and vendors are centralized in Atlantic Beach, the only beach in the Grand Strand that welcomed Black people during segregation. However, festival excitement always extends beyond town limits into surrounding Grand Strand areas.
Fall Myrtle Beach Bike Rally
After May, the Grand Strand will have a break in bike events until September. This year, the Fall Myrtle Beach Bike Rally or Fall Bike Week returns Friday, Sept. 25, through Sunday, Oct. 4. Although the fall festival is smaller than its springtime sister rally, it still draws huge crowds every year.
Similar to the spring rally, during the fall rally bikers will span the Grand Strand, but tend to gather at biker hot spots in and around Murrells Inlet.
