Coastal Carolina fraternity suspended after members arrested for sexual assault
The Coastal Carolina Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity has been suspended after one of its members was arrested in connection with the sexual assault of a woman at a party earlier this month, according to university officials.
Raheen Levar Linnen, 24, of Georgetown, and Javon Lorenz Johnson, 21, of Conway, are CCU students and were arrested recently after a woman said she was raped while at a party near Conway.
According to Martha Hunn, Associate Vice President in the Office of University Communication at CCU, Johnson and Linnen "were restricted from campus immediately upon notice of arrest... This measure is taken during the University administrative process to protect all parties and the integrity of the investigation."
Johnson is listed on the chapter roster Kappa Alpha Psi at CCU, according to Hunn.
