A downtown Conway restaurant limited its operations over the weekend after being damaged in an intense storm Saturday night.

Leone’s Italian Ristorante at 330 Main Street was struck by lightning. No one was injured, but Leone’s closed its dining room for repairs on Sunday and Monday morning, while continuing to offer takeout service through walk-in, ChowNow and DoorDash orders.

“This is a challenging time for our Leone’s family, and we kindly ask for your patience, support, and a little bit of luck as we navigate the days ahead,” Leone’s shared in a Facebook post. “We will keep everyone updated regarding Monday evening service as soon as we have more information.”

It’s unclear when Leone’s Italian Ristorante will reopen for in-house dining. The Sun News was unable to reach restaurant management Monday morning, and no updates have been shared since the initial post.
