New breakfast restaurant will take the place of longtime Myrtle Beach steakhouse
A former longtime Myrtle Beach steakhouse is getting a new look and a new menu that will be designed for the morning crowd.
TBonz Gill & Grill on Seaboard Street, which closed at the end of last year after more than 30 years in business, will now become New Morning Breakfast.
Renovations have been taken place at the restaurant, but it is unclear when it is expected to open. It is also not known what breakfast items will be offered.
Messages left for the South Carolina-based Homegrown Hospitality Group, which operates TBonz, as well as Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse and Liberty Tap Room & Grill, have not been returned.
“Following the closure, the restaurant space will be reimagined under a new concept, introducing a breakfast-driven experience with expanded brunch offerings and an in-house bakery,” HHG representative Charlotte Bruton said in a statement, according to previous reporting in The Sun News.
