4-year-old drowns in Conway pond. Coroner’s office releases young boy’s name
The name of a 4-year-old who drowned in a pond at a Conway home has been released.
Jonathan Rubio-Mora died Sunday at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center where he was transported after he was pulled from a pond just outside of his home in Conway, according to Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard by email.
Police responded to Cheynne Road about 10:45 a.m., according to a Horry County Police report.
No foul play is suspected in the death, the report said.
Horry County Police is investigating.
