One person was sent to a hospital after an estimated four-acre blaze swept through part of Horry County on Friday.

Horry County Fire Rescue personnel were dispatched to the area of High Point Church Road in Conway where an outside fire was threatening nearby structures, according to a Facebook post by the department. One residence sustained exterior fire damage in the fire, and one person was transported to a hospital with injuries.

The fire has been completely contained, according to Horry County Fire Rescue. However, people in the area may see smoke for an extended period of time.

No further information has been released. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
