HGTV seen filming in Myrtle Beach this summer. Here’s when episodes will air

HGTV

HGTV is known for its programs that try to find that perfect home for buyers, whether it be in the mountains, on the lake or at the beach.

It’s the latter destination that is the focus of a new TV show that works to find affordable homes in the sand for buyers with small budgets. Myrtle Beach is one of the locations where buyers were filmed looking for homes.

Crews for HGTV could be seen on the beach in September, which sparked speculation on what show was being filmed.

“Cheap A$ Beach Houses” debuted on the home improvement and real estate channel on Dec. 3, 2025. The show is similar to fan-favorites like “Beachfront Bargain Hunt,” which has also featured Myrtle Beach.

There will be two episodes featuring the coastal city. The first will premiere Jan. 14 at 8:30 p.m. That episode features a traveling nurse and her mother looking for a Myrtle Beach home.

The second episode airs at 9 p.m. Jan. 21 and features a husband and wife looking for a vacation home “with big views and bold amenities.”
