Myrtle Beach area drivers can see delays from SC 544 lane closures. Here’s when
Lane closures will take place on a portion of S.C. 544 beginning Sunday through the end of the month, according to the South Carolina Department of Transportation.
The SCDOT will conduct temporary, nighttime lane closures in Socastee on the bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway, between Peachtree and Dick Pond roads.
The closures will happen from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays, which will allow crews to perform bridge maintenance, according to a release.
Drivers should seek alternate routes, if possible and expect delays.
