Spirit Airlines announced on Monday morning that they’ll be offering cheaper fare in August for passengers looking to fly from LaGuardia Airport to Myrtle Beach International Airport.

In an email to The Sun News, Spirit Airlines spokesperson Cameryn Junck wrote that travelers can buy fares from Myrtle Beach International Airport to New York City’s LaGuardia Airport starting at $54 for a one way ticket.

The airline will offer up to three flights daily between the two airports in August and September, the email said.

These fares are available for booking starting on Aug. 4 through Aug. 10, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. for travel from Aug. 23, 2025, through Sept. 8, 2025, just in time for the U.S. Open matches, Junck wrote.

Some restrictions include a 21-day advance purchase required with blackout dates of Aug. 28 through Sept. 2, 2025, according to the email.

“It’s game, set, match on nonstop flights to LaGuardia, just in time for world-class tennis,” Rana Ghosh, senior vice president and chief commercial officer at Spirit Airlines, wrote in an emailed statement. “Spirit is serving up special low fares to the Big Apple for tennis fans to enjoy an elevated travel experience on their way to the sport’s most prestigious event in the U.S.”
