An oceanfront Myrtle Beach hotel is for sale as some hotel owners across the Grand Strand look to sell their properties.

At 2502 N Ocean Blvd. near the former site of the Myrtle Square Mall, the Beverley Beach House hotel is for sale on the commercial real estate website LoopNet.

Built in 1965, the listing states the 24-room hotel received more than a million dollars in renovations. The LoopNet listing shows that the property first went on the market in May 2024.

Colliers’ Executive Vice President Prashant Merchant represents the property on LoopNet. He did not return a request for comment before publication.

While the listing doesn’t include an asking price, the property recently sold. Horry County Land Records show that the hotel’s current owners purchased the property for more than $1.5 million in January 2019. The county’s records also show that the property’s market value is more than $2 million.

The hotel is one of many for sale in the Myrtle Beach area. Typically small, independent locations built in the mid-to-late 20th century, five hotels are for sale in Horry County on LoopNet as of Feb. 11, 2025 — not including several hotels for sale on platforms like Zillow.
