A oceanfront hotel in Myrtle Beach is for sale. Here’s what the asking price is
A Myrtle Beach hotel and resort on the oceanfront is for sale less than six months after being purchased.
Indigo Tower, a 54-room hotel built in 1974, is for sale, according to its LoopNet posting. The asking price is $7.4 million.
Liat Edri, the realtor professional with Realty One Group Dockside listed for the property, did not return a request for comment. According to Horry County Land Records, Indigo Hotel, LLC, owns the property. The South Carolina Business Entities Online database reports that Daniel Harrar is the registered agent for Indigo Hotel, LLC. Harrar also did not return a request for comment before publication.
Posted on LoopNet June 11, 2024, the hotel previously sold in February 2024 for $3.9 million, according to Horry County Land Records. It’s not the only hotel for sale in the area. The 25-room Lily & Bloom hotel at 501 North Ocean Blvd. is also for sale for $2.59 million and has received multiple offers.
Other recently sold hotels are undergoing renovations. The Sandcastle Oceanfront Resort at the Pavilion will undergo a $34 million renovation and will reopen in early 2025. The hotel will also get converted into the easy-going aesthetics Voco brand, a premium offering from the IHG Hotels & Resorts chain that owns Holiday Inn.
