There’s new development in North Myrtle Beach, as the area is already teeming with construction projects.

Along Little River Neck Road at 809 Wayne St., close to Tidewater Golf Club, construction and heavy machinery are working on a property.

On the beach side of the Intracoastal Waterway, large earthen mounds sit on the property. A familiar AO Hardee sign alerting drivers on Little River Neck Neck Road that the company’s hiring operators.

The construction is for a large single-family home development coming to the area. Named Seachase Pointe, the property will add 180 single-family lots, according to North Myrtle Beach Assistant City Manager Ryan Fabbri.

Fabbri added that Lennar, a national home-building company, is the developer of the project, although the company does not list Seachase Pointe on its website as a future project.

Danielle Tocco, Lennar’s vice president of communications, could not be reached for comment before publication.

The 60 acre property, annexed into North Myrtle Beach, was last purchased for about $4.7 million in July 2023 and has a market value of more than four million dollars, according to Horry County Land Records.

Tidewater Golf Club at 1400 Tidewater Drive was Sun News readers’ second favorite golf course in 2023.
